These individual firms were limited not only in terms of what they could produce but also how efficiently and economically they could produce it in the face of limited capacities and poor infrastructure. Most industrialists did not look beyond the local vegetable market (Mandi) for sourcing and were at the mercy of systemic inefficiency for everything.
Holyland becomes the first company to effectively implement product focused manufacturing, developing devoted vendors for local produce that focused on locally produced crops - producing efficiently by avoiding wastages and spoilages in transportation - producing economically by cutting out the speculators at the Mandis and buying from the farmers assisted in the same by us - producing quality by focusing on what they could produce in the best possible way. Holyland becomes the first and largest company in terms of available production capacity of fruit and vegetable canning by pooling the capacities of all the devoted vendors under exclusivity tie-ups and out sourced production agreements, eliminating the capacity constraints faced by regionalized players rapidly building the economies of scale required for a pan Indian brand.
